Reset two factor authentication
It is possible that a colleague or student has enabled Two factor authentication and can no longer log in to Simulise. For example, because this person has received a new telephone.
To reset two factor authentication, do the following:
- Navigate to the Administration module.
- Choose for the module Users.
- Find the user and click Edit.
- Click Reset two-factor at the bottom of the page!
- Inform the colleague that he/she can set two factor again.
Safety Warning. When you reset the two factor, make sure that the request actually comes from the person (by calling them or in a face-to-face conversation). It is possible that unauthorized use is made of the colleague's email account to gain access for Simulise.
