Delete school-leaver
About time, students drop out of school. When importing new students, they are divided into groups, but the old students still remain under Managed Users.
Using the following filter, these students can be searched for at once and then either
Removed or
marked as Alumni.
- Go to Administration
- Click Users.
- In the filter on the right, choose Status: Without group
- Select the students at once via the top checkbox.
- Then choose Delete or Mark as Alumni at the bottom of bulk. This must be done for each page. With the Alumni status, students can no longer log in with their school email, but they can log in with their private email if they have opted for a lifelong portfolio.
These users will then be given the status Removed or Alumni. They are still in the database. They can still be restored by choosing Restore at the bottom of bulk.
To permanently remove users, you must Remove users and the administrator can ask the Simulise Support to remove them Permanently. This cannot be undone and the student cannot keep his portfolio.
After this, the users cannot be put back into the system and all data is lost.
