Notifications

Simulise has a notification system to keep you informed of changes in the system. Think of:
  • Assignment is submitted by a student.
  • Change of latest submission date.
  • Students asks for a reflection on assignment.
  • Fellow student asks for a reflection.
  • Feedback has been given on an assignment.
  • Export is finished.
  • Assignment has been reviewed by a reviewer.
  • Listing on the Community.

Unread notifications will be marked as read after you open it or after 30 days. After 1 year the notification messages are placed in the archive. After 2 years the messages will be deleted.

View notifications

The notifications are in 3 places:
  1. At the Notifications icon in the top bar of Simulise. These are just the number of unread messages. From here you can also go to your all notifications by clicking View all notifications.... TIP: You can also choose to mark all messages as read via the checkmark at the bottom. Via the cogwheel next to it you can go directly to the settings to determine what you want to receive notifications from.

  1. By clicking on your name and then Notifications. Here you always see all the notifications that are there, read and unread and you can archive your notifications.

  1. On the Notifications tile on your Dashboard. These are the last 5 unread messages. From here you can also go to all notifications

If you click on a Notification you will go directly to the place in Simulise that it is about.

You can decide for yourself where you receive notifications and where you see this (mail and/or notification center). You can set these in your personal settings.

Archive notifications

You can archive notifications (if you've read them) by clicking the trash can next to the message.
