Adding Skills diagram
Skills can be part of a skills diagram. The school administrator can create different diagrams, each with its own set of skills.
Skills can appear in multiple diagrams.
Examples of skills include:
- Career learning competencies -> (quality reflection, motive reflection, job exploration, career self-management, and networking)
- 21st-century skills
- Subject-specific skills
Add skills diagrams
Go to
Skills and then to
D
iagrams tab. Then choose
+ New skill diagram.
- Give the skill diagram a name (mandatory).
- If desired, provide a short description of the diagram.
- Make the diagram active if it is going to be used immediately.
- Link locations to the diagram. This setting is only visible if the locations module is enabled in your environment.
- Link skills to the diagram (maximum of 12).
- Choose which groups should receive this diagram. This will prevent the diagram from being available to non-selected groups.
- Choose View More Settings to:
- Set the diagram as the default for the selected groups. If a diagram is marked as default, it will be visible on the student's dashboard.
- Add metadata to the diagram. This allows for simplified filtering.
