Adding skills

To measure skills, they must first be created. Follow these steps to create skills and link them to a diagram:

• In the left menu, go to the Skills module and select + New Skill.
• Give the Skill a name (mandatory).
• If desired, provide a short description for the skill.
• Link a location to the skill (only applicable if locations are enabled in your environment). This allows for simplified filtering and overview.
• Indicate in which Skills Diagram(s) this competency should be included.
• Choose Show more settings to link any metadata to the skill. All categories + labels will then be visible, allowing for simplified filtering.

A maximum of 12 skills can be part of one skill diagram (in connection with the readability of the diagram).

A skills diagram does not have to be the same for everyone. You can associate a diagram with a specific group.
