Edit plan
Lesson plans in Simulise can only be edited when:
- You are one of the authors of the assignment.
- You are an administrator.
Lesson plans can be fully edited as long as students have not yet started any of the included assignments.
What can always be edited in a lesson plan:
- The title of the lesson plan.
- The description of the lesson plan.
- The start date and deadline of the lesson plan.
- The other settings of the lesson plan.
What can be partially edited once students have started working on the lesson plan:
- If one student has begun one of the assignments within the lesson plan, that specific assignment, including its start date, deadline, deletion, and repositioning, can no longer be edited.
- Adding a new assignment: You can always add a new assignment to the lesson plan, but this assignment cannot be placed in the first position.
How to delete a specific assignment from a plan
If you want to remove a specific assignment from a lesson plan but can't do so because a student has already completed it within that plan, we recommend first copying the lesson plan and then editing it. If this is not possible or desired, the only way to remove the assignment from the lesson plan is by deleting it from the assignment library. This action will have the following consequences:
- All results achieved for this assignment, including those outside of the lesson plan, will be deleted. This includes any existing connections with the assignment.
- The assignment will be removed from the lesson plan, and students will no longer be able to complete it.
