Edit or delete labels
Both labels and categories can be managed. It is possible to set a label or category to inactive, archive it (which removes it), or permanently delete it. However, this comes with certain consequences.
Manage labels
To edit a label, click on the blue square next to the label. Once selected, you will have the following options:
- Edit: Choose this to modify the label. You can change its name as well as its deeper connections with other categories and labels.
- Inactive: When a label is inactive, it can no longer be used in the modules. However, if the label was previously used, it will remain visible but cannot be filtered.
- Archive: Labels can no longer be used but will still exist.
- Delete: When a label is deleted, its connections are no longer visible. If you choose to restore it after deletion, the label will return.
- Permanently delete: All connections to the label are removed permanently.
- Delete: When a label is deleted, its connections are no longer visible. If you choose to restore it after deletion, the label will return.
Manage category
Categories can also be edited. To edit a category, click on the blue square:
- Edit: Choose this to modify the category. You can change the name of the category and also create connections with other categories.
- Labels: Choose this to go directly to the underlying labels.
- Inactive: When a category is inactive, it can no longer be used in the modules. If the labels have been used previously, they will remain active, but you can no longer filter by them.
- Archive: Labels can no longer be used, but they will still exist.
- Delete: When a category is deleted, the linked labels will no longer be visible (where they were linked). If you choose to restore it after deletion, the labels will reappear.
- Permanently delete: All underlying labels are disconnected and deleted, removing all connections.
- Delete: When a category is deleted, the linked labels will no longer be visible (where they were linked). If you choose to restore it after deletion, the labels will reappear.
