Archive or delete rubric
Rubrics that are no longer needed can be archived and deleted. Rubrics must first be archived before they can be deleted. Only the author of the rubric and the administrator of Simulise can archive the rubric.
Archiving a Rubric means:
- The rubric disappears from the overview and can be found by filtering for Archived.
- The rubric can no longer be assigned to an assignment (if the rubric is already linked to an assignment, it will remain).
- The rubric can still be copied.
- The assigned badges and feedback on the rubric will remain intact.
If the rubric has not been used by students, the author will see the option to delete the rubric after it has been archived.
Deleting a Rubric
If the rubric has been used by students, it cannot simply be deleted. Only Simulise administrators are able to permanently delete rubrics. Deleting a rubric results in:
- The rubric no longer appearing in the rubric overview.
- All results that have ever been recorded for this rubric being removed. This will affect the skills diagram.
The delete action cannot be undone. For this reason, only administrators are permitted to delete the rubric.
