Year transition lesson material

At the start of a new school year, it can be helpful to begin with a clean and organized environment. The following steps may be useful:

  • If lesson materials are no longer in use, archive them. This will result in:
    • The lesson material being hidden under a filter and no longer immediately visible.
    • The results remaining intact, ensuring no impact on users who have previously used the material.
    • The ability to retrieve the material later if needed.
  • Want to reuse existing lesson materials but need to make changes? Create a copy of the lesson material and apply the changes.

Lesson materials that have already been used are always limited in terms of editing. For example, you can modify the description of an assignment, but you cannot link a new rubric. However, you can still edit the content of the rubric in the rubric module.

  • Want to fully reuse existing lesson materials? Ensure that the lesson materials are linked to the new groups.

Often, this is not necessary at the start of the school year, as teachers will typically create these links themselves.
