Year transition users and groups (Synchronisation SAS)

During the summer, we will prepare the new groups and archive the old groups at least one week before the start of the school year. This will result in the following:

• Links to old, archived groups will be visually disconnected.
• Students who have received assignments, lesson plans, or templates from the archived group will no longer see them, unless the student has already started working on the assignment, lesson plan, or template.
• If the groups and users are not yet available, we will wait a few days and try again.

Actions for Schools After a New Synchronization (Year Transition)

• Using locations? Ensure that the newly synchronized groups are linked to the correct location.
• Not all groups can log in? Make sure that the groups requiring access to Simulise are granted access again.
• Grant deans, mentors, or other users access to groups where they need to distribute teaching materials. Learn here how to link users to all groups.
• Assign new teachers the appropriate permissions in Simulise.
