Give a user acces to all groups

From the automatic nightly synchronization, only homeroom and class groups are linked to a user. However, certain scenarios might require manual adjustments, such as:

  • Counselors/Coordinators assigning assignments, lesson plans, and templates to various groups.
  • Mentors wanting to view overviews of their students.
  • Teachers needing visibility into specific groups.

In these cases, users will need to be manually linked to a group or parent group.

  1. Navigate to the Admin module.
  2. Select the Users module.
  3. Search for the specific user and select Edit.
  4. Add a group to the user:
    • This can be an individual group or a parent group.

If you want the user to distribute items across the entire school, link them to the parent group (e.g., school year: 2024-2025).

  1. Click Save.

Note: Even if the user is not included in the group during the nightly synchronization, the manual link to the group will remain. This requires manual management.
