Role and Rights
When a user is created (manually or via UWLR) he is given the role Teacher or Student.
Student | A student can build a portfolio, make contributions and respond to the community and submit assignments |
Teacher | A teacher can hand out assignments from the library to classes or students and grade them. In addition, a teacher can also create lesson plans from existing assignments in the library. The teacher can also post reactions and contributions to the community and build his own portfolio. |
In addition, both students and lecturers can be granted additional rights. A user can be assigned multiple additional roles.
The following additional rights are available:
Moderator | Moderators can make changes to the community's comments and, for example, delete annoying posts. Intended for students/teachers who are assigned this responsibility. |
Administrator | The Administrator is the administrator of the entire school environment. This can be several. However, based on the GDPR, we recommend that this is a limited number of people. The administrator can log in as any user and can adjust all the settings of the environment. The administrator can perform all actions. |
Skill author | Skills authors can add competencies/skills and add skills diagrams. Without this role you can only use the existing skills. |
Rubric author | Rubric authors can develop rubrics and make them available in the school library. Without this role you cannot create rubrics, but you can use rubrics that have been created. |
Assignment author | Assignment authors can develop assignments and make them available in the school library. Without this role, you can only use assignments created by others and not develop yourself. |
Page Template Author | Page Template Authors can develop Page Templates and distribute them to groups. |
